Women Cell

The women cell in the institution is set up recently to create awareness about gender equality, with a focus on women empowerment.  The cell will also look into the matter and related issues of gender discrimination that often proves to be a bane in our social system.  The cell works, in tandem, with committee against sexual harassment.  The cell regularly arranges for counseling of girls students so that issues of concern, both social and individual, may be effectively addressed on a case to case basis.  Separate complaint box, exclusively meant for girls, is placed by the cell so that the aggrieved/affected party may reach out for help at her own convenience.  To complement the system further, Helpline numbers are widely circulated among the girls students by the members of the cell. The members of Women Cell are given following according to session 2019-2020:

FTT Sujata Bandopadhyay Convenor
  Ambalika Biswas Member
  Hasina Sikdar Member
GAPTT Dr. Doyel Ganguly Member
